Our story
Our story
From the kitchens of Istanbul to the heart of Granada
Since 1987, we have been sharing the authentic taste and warm hospitality of Turkish pastry in Granada. What began as a family passion passed down through generations has become a beloved reference for handmade baklava and Turkish sweets in Andalusia, a place where every visit feels like coming home.

Our journey
Our roots are in Istanbul, where we learned the centuries-old craft of baklava making: paper-thin layers of hand-stretched filo, the finest pistachios from Gaziantep, pure wildflower honey, and the unhurried rhythm of those who respect every detail. There, in family kitchens and neighborhood workshops, we discovered that Turkish pastry is more than a sweet, it is hospitality, memory, and artisan pride.
In 1987 we opened our first shop in Granada with a simple yet ambitious mission: to offer the most authentic Turkish sweets possible, made with care and respect for tradition. We brought with us our elders' recipes, the welcoming spirit of the Turkish table, and the conviction that Granada, with its Moorish history and Mediterranean soul, was the perfect place to share that legacy.
Today, every tray is still prepared by hand in our workshop using the same time-honored techniques we learned in Istanbul. We source our pistachios directly from Gaziantep, select top-quality nuts and honey, and bake fresh every morning so that what you find in our display cases is always generous, fragrant, and true to its origins. Two shops in Granada's historic center let us bring that flavor to locals and visitors alike.
What we stand for
Authenticity
Family recipes passed down through generations, with no shortcuts or substitutes. Every baklava, lokum, and specialty reflects the flavor we first knew in Istanbul.
Daily craftsmanship
Everything is made fresh every morning in our workshop. From stretching the filo to the final cut, every step is done by hand with patience and skill.
Premium ingredients
Gaziantep pistachios, wildflower honey, carefully selected nuts, and oils of the finest quality. We work only with ingredients that would honor our roots.
Genuine hospitality
Every customer is treated like a guest in our home. We invite you to taste, to ask questions, and to stay a little longer, because sharing a sweet means sharing a story.
Respect for tradition
We honor the culture behind every recipe: the craft, the history, and the meaning of each sweet. We innovate carefully, but never at the expense of what defines us.

The team behind the sweetness
We are a passionate team of bakers and pastry chefs trained in traditional Turkish techniques, many with years of experience in our workshop. Every morning we work side by side: stretching filo, preparing syrups, filling trays, and packing each box with the same care we would put into a gift for our own family. We pour our heart into every layer and every detail, because we know that what leaves our hands reaches tables, celebrations, and moments that deserve something truly special.
